Pictures aren't posting correctly

I will try to repost the pictures.... I hope it works this time.

Mattie's First Halloween

It's an exciting time in the Lomoglio house. Tonight we had some friends over, and we had a little pumpkin carving party. Since it is Mattie's first pumpkin, I decided to do a carving from a pattern. I carved her favorite Backyardigan (she likes any of them, she is too young to have a favorite, but I just think she likes this one the best). It turned out pretty good. Mattie is going to be a duck, and those who haven't seen her in the duck costume...where have you been? I have taken like 100 pictures of her in it. :) But I will attach some, and also some from tonight's festivities. Mattie's friend Shelby (the Shelbster) came over and let us get a picture of her in her cute lion costume. She is getting so big and jibber jabbers all the time. She is such a smart little cookie, I can only hope that Mattie will be like her, Jill and Brian have done such a great job with her. That crazy guy trying to look like Lil'Jon is Pete,he is nuts, and we had to listen to him try to rap all night. I think it should be illegal for whilte guys to attempt to rap.
We are sad that we aren't going to be up in Canton for Mattie's first Halloween, but its too hard to get up there in the middle of the week. Atleast we were up there for our Halloween party at the beginning of the month. And I am sure once she is older, we will be living up there and spending all of our halloween's up there. I can only hope!
Happy Halloween Everyone!

Mattie likes to beat me up!

So my little bruiser has already claimed her first victim, ME! Last Thursday she bonked her little head into my tooth. She didn't cry, but I wanted to. It hurt so bad. I went to bed, woke up the next morning, and then bit down. Something didn't seem right. So then I brushed my tongue against the tooth, and the front fell off. So needless to say, I am now one tooth short of what I had last week. I had to have it pulled, which was an hour and a half process because it kept breaking when they would try to yank it out. Come to find out, it was a double rooted tooth, so I have a big gash up my gums.
That little Mattie, giving me problems already. :)
She had her baptism this weekend, so I was deathly afraid of smiling, because I didn't want to scare everyone away with my redneck set of teeth.

Mattie did so well at church. She slept through her baptism, but the woke up once she heard the choir sing. She didn't make a peep throught the rest of the service. What a good little girl. She wore the same gown that her Dad,her Uncle Brian, and their cousin Geoff wore for their christening. She looked very cute in it. The bonnet was worn by all of them too. My grandmother made a pink underlay for it, instead of the blue one the boys wore. It was a nice day, and we had a great gathering of people at my grandfather's house. I love all of my family and it was so nice to share such a special day with all of them. We all are very blessed.

My First Post (10/12/06)

Hello,
Thank you for reading my blog. If you don't know me, you soon will, very quickly. My name is Renee, I am wife to Scott, and mom to Mattie. I am a first time mom, and loving every minute of it. Its 11:45 pm and I can hear my little girl tossing and turning and grunting like crazy in her crib. She is my world. I love to listen to all the little noises she makes, and I watch her sleep all the time. When she sleeps, I want to wake her up just to see her smile. She smiles most after she has had her beauty sleep, but don't we all? :)
I will be writing more, I just wanted to start off small. I have a lot to say, and not enough time to say it all now. I look forward to meeting people and discussing my life, sharing stories about my baby, and making new friends.
